One random fact about me is that I love the outdoors. More specifically, I love the mountains, the rolling clouds, the lush and tall trees, and the great beautiful lakes. A place I have always wanted to visit was Alaska, because everything I have ever envisioned about the place fits that very description. I love its sleepy waterfront towns, its cold and rainy weather, and all the sights, sounds and smells that the landscape has to offer. Here are some pictures of my recent trip to the Last Frontier state and some of Victoria B.C. as well!
Our first stop after a few days at sea was the town of Juneau.
The next day, we traveled north into Skagway, where we took a train
to White Pass summit, at the US/Canada border.
A disused bridge that crosses an enourmously deep valley.
A couple of days after, we then headed southwards into Ketchikan.
Here's some random photos from around Victoria B.C. on my return trip.
Cool little alleyway chock full of small shops I found while exploring Downtown Victoria.
