For Annie's 21st birthday we celebrated by surprising her with a picnic at Bonelli Park. The following day, her, Jennifer, Stephanie, and I took a two-day trip to San Francisco. What a memorable week!

Us preparing the picnic before the birthday girl arrived.
The birthday girl arrives! Thanks again Sam!
Getting ready to eat all the yummy food. Thanks again for making the food Jennifer and Jie!

The rest of the group arrived.
I do not remember what was going on when I took this picture, but it sure seemed like something funny.

The following day was the day of our San Francisco trip. We spent two days and one night here. I believe we walked for at least 25, if not 30 of those 40 some-odd hours spent there. By the end of the trip, our feet were so tired and we were so tired, but the memories totally made up for it!

The house from the TV show Full House!
Us walking along Geary Blvd.(?) to try and find a bus that would take us to the Golden Gate bridge. That plan failed.
We eventually found ourselves turning on Masonic Ave. and walking through The Panhandle park.
Here is us being tourists in front of the conservatory in the Golden Gate park.

We then found ourselves on a bus that took us to the beach....
FINALLY.. After much running to catch buses we arrived at the Golden Gate bridge.
Us being tourists while walking across the bridge.

After I took this picture on the other side of the bridge, we tried looking for a bus that would take us back to our hotel. What happens next I will never forget..

We continued walking north, away from the bridge, and found ourselves in some remote area that was dead quiet

We turned back around and walked the other way, again into some remote area, but at least we found our bus stop. So an hour or so passed while waiting at the bus stop, and no sign of the bus. It got darker and darker and what's worse was the rain was now starting to pour.

Finally, after waiting for long enough we decided to just walk back across the bridge. With the rain pouring, our bodies exhausted, we began. To make matters worse, right at the start of the bridge, a security guard drove by and said if we were to be crossing back to the other side, that they would be closing the pedestrian crosswalk in 15 minutes. Great. So we had 15 minutes to run the entire length of the bridge.. Needless to say, we made it and caught a bus back to our hotel in Japantown.

First order of business the next morning was food. We found this neat little coffee truck after picking up some breakfast at HRD.

We decided to eat our breakfast at Embarcadero park.

After breakfast was over with, we strolled through Fisherman's Wharf, where we eventually found ourselves walking up this thing I think they call a street (although it was more like a mountain to me).

Which then eventually led us to our next destination, Lombard Street.

Following Lombard Street, we relaxed at some coffee shop near Chinatown and then had lunch at an Italian restaurant. Afterwards we decided it would be in our best interest to find our way back to where our bus would be picking us up for our ride home. That pretty much sums up our entire two-day trip to San Francisco. I had an amazing time out there with the people I love the most, what more could a guy ask for? Coming to SF with nothing more than backpacks full of clothes and some cash was a great experience and definitely something I would like to do again. I have never walked so much in a day, ever. Not to mention we did this for two days straight. I hope you enjoyed reading this quite lengthy post. I promise I won't have another lengthy post like this for awhile haha. Cheers!
